The ISA (Delhi Branch) is organizing its Annual Conference on 7th and 8th April 2012 at Manekshaw Centre, Parade Road, Delhi Cantt, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi. The venue is one of the finest conference destinations in Delhi. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we invite you to join us and enjoy the academic feast laid out for you.

Details of Delegation Fees

1. Banquet Charges for the Accompanying person Rs.1000/- each.
2. No guarantee of souvenir / kit / bag on spot registration.
3. Registration form, completed in all respect along with the registration fee, may be sent to the Secretary, ISA Delhi Branch, Hindu Rao Hospital, Delhi.

Registration payments to be made through cheque till 10th March. After that payments will be accepted through Bank Draft/cash. The cheque/Bank Draft will be in favour of: Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (Delhi Branch), payable at Delhi.

All cash payments to be done at HRH Secretariat.

Registration is mandatory for any kind of participation.

• Dr T.N Jha Memorial Awards – Manuscript to be submitted in written form by 15th February, 2012.
• Quiz Competition – names for the preliminary round to be sent by 31st January, 2012.
• Papers Presentation – Abstract to be submitted by 15th February, 2012.
• Full Text of All Lectures / Talks to be submitted by 15th February, 2012.
• Poster Presentation – the details should be sent by 15th February, 2012.
• Video Presentation - 15th February, 2012.

1. Prerequisites for the participants
   • Participant must be a life member of the ISA.
   • Participant has to be a post graduate student at the time when the participant reads the paper in the annual conference of ISA (Delhi), 2012.
   • Participant must submit a certificate endorsing the same from head of the department.
   • Participant must be registered for conference.
   • The registration form is to be duly filled by all participants.
2. The first page should be separate and have the following details
   • Title of the Thesis
   • Name of PRESENTING AUTHOR
   • Name of the GUIDE
   • Name of the INSTITUTION
3. The rest of the manuscript for the TN Jha Award is to be submitted under the following heading
   • Abstract : The total length of the abstract should not be more than 100 words
   • Introduction
   • Aims and objectives
   • Material and Methods
   • Evaluating Parameters
   • Statistical Analysis
   • Results
   • Discussion
   • References
     
4. Last date of submission
   • Four hard copies and one soft copy are to be submitted to the Secretary, ISA Delhi Branch (isadelhihrh2011@gmail.com) latest by 15th February, 2012.

1. Participant must be a life member of ISA .
2. Participant must be registered for the conference.
3. Abstract should not be more than 300 words and typed in the format provided.

5. Maximum time allowed for presentation would be 7 minutes.
6. Scientific Committee will make the selection of abstracts.

1. Preliminary round of the quiz will be held in 1st or 2nd week of February at conference hall, G- block, Hindu Rao Hospital, Delhi-7.
2. All participants must be a life member of ISA.
3. All participants must be registered for the conference.
4. Each institute to send only one team comprising of 5 members for the preliminary round but only best three contestants of each team who will qualify the preliminary round will go to the final round at Annual Conference.

5. Size of poster 3 x 4 feet; may be single large poster or separate A4 sheets
6. Use only 1 font type
7. Title; 70 point font ; should be readable from 15-20 feet
8. All text should be readable at distance of 6 feet
9. Double space all text
10. Tacks etc for putting up posters will be made available.
11. Selected Participants have to bring soft copy of their presentation at the time of final presentation in Annual Conference for e-poster viewing along with their posters

Last date for submission of poster is 15th Feb, 2012

1. We invite interesting cases, procedures, techniques from all the members of the ISA.
2. Participant must be a life member of ISA.
3. Participant must be registered for the Annual Conference of ISA Delhi Branch.
4. The presenter shall have 7 minutes for presenting the video and 3 minutes for discussion with the audience thereafter.
5. Please edit the video duration to less than 7 minutes before sending it to conference secretariat. We will not edit for you. The videos more than 7 minutes length will be rejected.
6. MPEGI (.MPG) or .AVI formats should be used for the videos.
7. The video may be accompanied by a soundtrack embedded  in the video file; or the presenter may speak while the video is being played.
8. Power point presentation will not be accepted.
9. Videos should be sent in a CD format to the following address:

10. The video files are very bulky hence we will not accept it on email.
    1. The title/name of the above video along with the name of the presenter and the conference reference number should be written on the CD with permanent marker ink pen.
    2. A brief write up along with the email id of the presenter should be sent in the CD in MS word format.
    3. CDs will be screened and individual candidates selected for the presentation shall be informed by email.
    4. Last date for the submission of the video shall be 15 Feb. 2012.
    5. The decision of scientific chairperson will be final and binding to all the participants.
